Self-Love Awareness

Everything changes when you begin to love yourself. You no longer send out the energy of depression or need to be filled from the outside. You become a powerful source within yourself that attracts better. The more you love who you are, the less you seek validation and approval.

Stay true to yourself and your soul and listen to your soul's urge. The more you resist your intuition, the more resistance life presents. It takes courage to stand one's ground but when it is done, we can work miracles. There is no one like You so stay true to your higher self and soul.

Reduce things in your life that cause stress or tension. Most of us can actively and consciously choose to release activities and responsibilities that are not serving our highest good. This could be extra pressure of events that do not give us more energy or that don't uplift us. We need to find a balance between responsibility and fun. To allow ourselves to be creative and in our highest truth, we need to allow silence and peace.

Just be you, self-love is to realize that you are worthy and deserving of love and that it is your birthright, not something you need to earn. When you love yourself, you allow others to love themselves. When you love yourself, you honour yourself, your body and everything that makes up your entire being.

Forgiveness originates with self-love. Forgiveness is always and absolutely for you. Forgiveness has nothing whatsoever to do with how wrong someone else was; no matter how evil, cruel, narcissistic or unrepentant they are. When you forgive a person, you break the ties with their ill deeds that keep you in anguish. Forgiving breaks the unhealthy bonds between you and your abuser-victim relationship and redefines you as an independent victor in your own life.

Oftentimes, our guilt over failing or disappointing someone exists only in our own minds. We torture ourselves senselessly over perceptions that others are judging us when in reality they are not. Even worse, we brutalize ourselves over circumstances that are clearly beyond our control. Painful things happen in life. The fires of remorse, regret and guilt burn over us through our mourning, but only to make way for the new growth of life after our painful losses. Your suffering is there to inspect you and perfect you. We are made complete by our pain.

Yes, I know you supposed to love yourself, but how? Listen carefully to that voice that chatters in your mind all day long. Is that voice being compassionate, forgiving, understanding and nice to you? When you start to speak kindly to yourself, that is the beginning of self-love.

Sel-worth is not determined by a beautiful face, a fancy car, or the most successful job those things can be taken away in the blink of an eye. Self-worth does not depend on something or someone else's approval of love. Self-worth is determined by one thing your own approval of you. You deserve unconditional love, affection, soothing reassurance, kindness, acceptance and comfort. Someone who will stay by your side through the darkest nights. Honour that person because they will never abandon you. This is the rue and everlasting love of your life. They will stay by your side until the day you die, with you through thick and thin. Who is that amazing person you ask?

I know, someday are really difficult, some times getting out of bed feels like torture especially when we face days with many things that we have to do and not so many things we want to do. Make a point to give yourself as many tiny moments of pleasure as possible throughout the day. Do something you enjoy even if it's as simple as a good cup of coffee or tea, listening to a favourite song on the drive to work, lunch with someone with love, read a chapter from your favourite book, take a shower with a nice smelling soap that you enjoy. These tiny moments are so very, very important to give to yourself.

May your heart be filled with gratitude and joy. Your home with love, your life be abundant with health, wealth, peace, longevity kindness and wisdom.
